West End Kindergarten seeks to serve the needs of Christian families who are members of the West End congregation and the families of the West Knoxville Community by providing early childhood education for children ages 3-5 year olds. We offer early childhood education at a reasonable cost, in a warm and caring environment. Enrollment is available to all community families regardless of race or religious affiliation. The staff of West End Kindergarten believes that each child is a special and unique creation of God and should have the opportunity to grow and develop at his/her own pace. The staff recognizes the importance of families and of working closely with them to help each child reach his/her full potential as an individual.

SCHOOL OPERATION
West End Kindergarten is operated in compliance with the standards for day care centers serving preschool children as required by the Tennessee Department Of Education. The Kindergarten Class is state approved and fully accredited by the Tennessee Department of Education. The school also complies with the City of Knoxville fire and environmental regulations.

ORGANIZATION
The Board of Directors, working with the Principal, is responsible for the day to day operation of the school. West End Church of Christ provides the facilities, including the playgrounds, and designated classroom areas approved by the eldership of the congregation for such use.
